Whitpain United Travel Softball
Fastpitch travel softball program for the girls of Montgomery County, PA
About the Program
At Whitpain United, we believe a team’s greatest strength lies in its unity. Our motto, “Only as strong as we are united,” is more than a catchphrase. It is a mindset that shapes how we train, compete, and grow as teams.
Travel softball life can be unpredictable, as players move from team to team hoping to find the right fit. We created United to be different. This is a program where bonds are built through adversity, growth is earned together, and teammates become more than just seasonal teammates. They become part of a something that feels like home.
We may be new to the travel circuit, but that’s exactly what sets us apart. We are not just chasing tournament rings. Our priority is to build a program where players grow together, develop a love for the game, and stay united for the long run. This is the heartbeat that drives us forward, uniting individuals into teams capable of overcoming challenges and reaching new heights. For more info, contact program chair A.J. Russo.

Core Values
BUILDING THE WHOLE PLAYER
We’re here to do more than teach softball. We’re here to help players discover what they’re capable of on the field and beyond it. Confidence comes from showing up, putting in the work, and learning from every experience, whether it’s a tough loss or a big win. We create a space where effort is valued, teammates lift each other up, and growth is constant. The lessons learned here go far beyond the game.
PUT THE TEAM FIRST
Being part of a team means showing up for each other in every practice and game. We teach our players to put the team first, lead with respect, and appreciate how every person’s role matters. Success is shared, and so is the effort that makes it possible. When we come together with trust and purpose, we grow stronger and achieve more.
SUPPORT MULTI-SPORT ATHLETES
We know today’s kids juggle a lot, and we believe that variety helps them grow into strong, well-rounded athletes. Whether your player is involved in multiple sports, school activities, or just needs time to be themselves, we support that balance. Our program is designed to fit busy schedules while teaching players the importance of commitment, responsibility, and being dependable teammates when it counts.
KEEP SOFTBALL ACCESSIBLE
We are committed to making the sport of travel softball more accessible. By managing our tournament schedule efficiently, we keep our program budget-friendly, while maintaining high-quality coaching and support.
ADAPT EVERY SEASON
As a newer program founded in 2023, we aren’t held back by outdated traditions or rigid systems. We listen carefully, learn quickly, and stay flexible so we can adapt in ways that best serve our players, coaches, and families. Every season teaches us something new, and we use those lessons to keep improving together.
