Whitpain Softball is thrilled to announce the launch of its Whitpain United Travel Softball Program, an initiative aimed at redefining the landscape of travel softball in Montgomery County, PA.

Founded on the belief that unity breeds strength, its motto “Only as strong as we are united,” will underscore the program’s commitment to fostering a culture of collaboration and belonging, ensuring that every player feels supported and empowered to reach their full potential.

“At Whitpain United, we’re not just building a team; we’re building a family,” says Coach A.J. Russo. “Our program is designed to empower athletes, nurture their talents, and forge unbreakable bonds.”

Key highlights of the program include:

  • Building Confidence & Unity: Through a focus on teamwork, leadership, and mutual support, Whitpain United will strive to instill confidence and unity in its players, fostering a sense of belonging and collective success.
  • Balance in Life: Recognizing the importance of maintaining a balanced lifestyle, the program will offer a schedule that accommodates players’ academic, extracurricular, and social commitments, ensuring they can excel both on and off the field.
  • Affordability: Whitpain United is committed to making travel softball accessible to all families. By managing its tournament schedule efficiently, the program will maintain affordability without compromising on the quality of coaching and support.

The program’s expansion plans for the summer of 2024 will accommodate 10U, 12U, 14U, and 16U age divisions, providing opportunities for players of all levels to join the Whitpain United community.

Tryouts for the Whitpain United 16U Travel Team will be held on July 17th, 2023 at Wentz Run Park in Blue Bell. The tryout is open to all softball players in Montgomery County, PA.
