A new season of WRA Intramural Basketball is ready to begin! As divisions typically fill up quick, we strongly encourage interested participants, both players and coaches, to immediately sign up and not risk waiting. All 11 divisions for the 2022-23 season have limited availability, with waitlist prioritization based on township residency and volunteer status.

 

Registration closes October 31st. Discounts are applied at checkout for Whitpain residents and Wissahickon School District residents.

 

New to WRA Intramural Basketball?

  • Divisions are organized by grade (elementary through high school)
  • Eligibility begins at 1st Grade
  • 1st and 2nd Grade participants play together in our “Instructional Division” which features one weekend activity per week beginning in Jan. (Girls on Sundays, Boys on Saturdays or Sundays)
  • 3rd through 12th Grade participants play in our “Intramural Divisions” which feature one weeknight practice, one weekend game (with a professional referee), and post-season playoffs. Teams are drafted by coaches following an evaluation of all players. Evaluation dates to be announced. Team practices begin in December.

  • 3rd and 4th Grade Boys
  • 5th Grade Boys
  • 6th and 7th Grade Boys
  • 8th and 9th Grade Boys
  • 10th through 12th Grade Boys

 

Girls Intramural Divisions for 2022-23:

  • 3rd and 4th Grade Girls
  • 5th and 6th Grade Girls
  • 7th through 9th Grade Girls
