It’s time to kick off another fun season of WRA Basketball! Ready to join us? Registration for Intramural and Instructional Basketball is now open through October 29th. Don’t wait to sign up, as many divisions fill quickly.

Please remember that all volunteers must have valid background clearance documentation on file with WRA before joining a team. Without it, you will not be permitted to serve as a coach or assistant coach. For more information about submitting clearances, Click Here.

Open divisions for the 2024-25 season include:

– Instructional Division for Boys in 1st & 2nd Grade

– Instructional Division for Girls in 1st & 2nd Grade

– 5 Intramural Divisions for Boys in Grades 3 through 12

– 3 Intramural Divisions for Girls in Grades 3 through 9

In addition to coaches, volunteers are needed for the role of Purchasing Coordinator (uniforms, trophies, etc.) as well as key Commissioner positions. Commissioners help organize player evaluations, team drafts, schedules, distribute jerseys, pay referees, and manage communication with parents and coaches. It’s an essential role, and by volunteering, you will directly contribute to ensuring every child has a positive and memorable experience in the program. Commissioner roles must be filled for the following divisions:

– Commissioner for Girls 3rd & 4th Grade

– Commissioner for Girls 7th through 9th Grade

– Co-Commissioner for Boys 3rd & 4th Grade

– Commissioner for Boys 6th & 7th Grade

– Commissioner for Boys 8th & 9th Grade
